Our custom log books are designed and produced specifically for superyachts. We know superyacht quality expectations. Custom Design
As an entirely bespoke product, there are no limits to your design choices. Our log books are custom made to order. We can supply you with templates to edit, take your ideas from a spreadsheet or even just an email. Our design team will edit to ensure that your log books look great and work well. We are here every step of the way so you can order custom log books stress-free.
Luxury Paper
We only use quality paper stocks like Conqueror and Fedrigoni. Your pages will not only look and feel nicer, but the heavier paper helps to keep your ink from showing through, and the luxury uncoated finish avoids smudges. We put a lot of thought into every single aspect of designing our custom superyacht log books, we improve and evolve to deliver you industry-leading products.
Sewn Binding
There are many ways to bind a book, but with our log books there is just one; Case Bound Section Sewing. This technique is similar to that of the Moleskine notebooks, the pages are sewn together in small sections, then cross sewn again together. This is the best method for binding log books, they lay open flatter, the pages are held in place more securely, and the look cannot be beaten.
Luxury Covers
We can offer an almost limitless choice of hard backed materials and finishes for your log book covers. Our most popular is the faux Leather cover with a debossed (stamped), silver foiled logo and cover wording. Colours, finishes, effects and materials can be discussed with our team who will work to find you the perfect cover.
Cover Logo
The front cover of your log book can include any level of customisation you want. Our most popular option is to have the superyacht logo debossed (stamped) into the leather cover with hot silver, gold or copper foil. This creates a recessed logo that has a shiny metallic coating. We can also produce entirely different effects such as a raised gloss logo, or anything you may have seen.
Unique Sizing
One size fits almost all. Paper sizing such as A3 or A4 may work for some superyacht log books, but the bridge log book and engine room log books often benefit from slightly wider dimensions. We buy our paper in very large sheets or on huge rolls, then cut down to the size you need. Our design team will work with you to create the perfect custom design for your log book.
The Extras
Your log books can include additional printed pages with reference content, for instance, the Vessel's Particulars, weather abbreviations, a phone contact list, emergency procedures, or any other content you would like to include. We can also incorporate spine printing, a page marker, design and proofing service, and international courier delivery.
